Fixed disclosures
More detail
The greeting gives callers the AI and recording notices before your receptionist begins intake. Your office supplies the business information it uses, while those disclosures stay in place.
Browser demo conversations are recorded and transcribed too, so you can see the result of your test. Use a fictional patient and a made-up situation when you test the receptionist in your browser. Listen to the introduction before asking about a recall visit or leaving a message for the office.

More detail
Your office can review caller numbers, recordings, transcripts and summaries in the dashboard. Call alerts arrive by email and app push notification, with a daily digest by email. Consider those delivery channels when deciding how your team handles messages.
We use providers for hosting and storage, telephony, voice and text AI, payments, email delivery and analytics. Recordings are deleted after your selected 30-day or 90-day period. Transcripts and summaries remain while the account is open and are deleted within 30 days after closure or on request. Our privacy policy and data handling details explain the categories collected.
How AI Providers Use Call Information
Service processing
Voice and text providers process information used in receptionist conversations.Training default
Our model provider, OpenAI, does not train on our API data by default.Marketing limit
We do not use your callers' information for our own marketing.
More detail
Voice and text AI processing is part of how your receptionist answers questions and prepares call information for your team. That processing involves service providers, rather than keeping the conversation solely within your office.
Our model provider, OpenAI, defaults to not training its models using our API data. This describes a training default, not an absence of data processing. We do not sell personal information or use callers' data for our own marketing. Your business decides what caller information is collected and why; we process that information on your behalf.

Caller access
More detail
Choose a recording period that fits how your office reviews phone messages: 30 or 90 days. You can review calls and settings in the dashboard and give the AI setting changes in plain words.
For access, correction, deletion or opt-out requests, write to [email protected]. Callers may contact the dental office directly or send their request to us. The office decides the purpose of caller data collection, and we process it on the office's behalf. Account closure also starts the deletion period for transcripts and summaries, which is within 30 days.

More detail
Our position on use with protected health information is the pending status (no business associate agreement is in place). Until this status is set, keep protected health information out of the service. Do not treat a working demo or a retention choice as evidence of a certification or audit.
The receptionist handles front-desk conversations, messages and routing. It does not diagnose, recommend treatment, verify insurance coverage or quote what insurance pays. Medical emergencies are directed to 911, crises to 988, and clinical calls to the on-call clinician. Review the service responsibilities and limits before requesting a free trial.
